The primary responsibilities as Sr. Human Resources Business Partner, is to Lead Human Resources efforts for the US Seeds organization of the CropScience sub group. The selected candidate must work internally within the US HR community to implement policies and practices both legally and compliantly and work with the Global Seeds organization to drive HR strategies aligned with the overall Seeds Business direction.

Position Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary strategic partner to US senior management for HR issues during planning and implementing states of projects affecting the workforce, including expansions, re-engineering, downsizing, and other organizational changes
• Partner with local experts to develop proposals regarding operating concepts, staffing strategies, training programs, and compensation structures
• Provide HR generalist support in the following areas: Performance Management, Compensation, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Relations, Staffing, and Manager & Employee Development
• Play an active role in leading “change” and in the planning for and development of the appropriate organizational alignment and structures, support systems, etc. to enhance the sites’ movement to high performance
• Provide advice and counsel to US Seeds Leadership team members to help them with accomplishing their business-related objectives and to address their concerns
• Counsel management and employees encountering employee relation issues. Facilitates the resolution of interpersonal conflicts, performance problems, and disciplinary actions
• Partner with Human Resources leaders to share and implement best practices and leverage expertise across the company within US
• Ensure appropriate policies are implemented compliantly within the US Seeds organization.

The Selected candidate must possess the following requirements:

• Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years of human resources related experience
• Competence in all functions of the human resources management field to anticipate and resolve problems that will benefit the goals and business objectives of the region
• Strong business acumen in order to offer HR solutions to issues strong follow up skills to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner
• Creative and proven problem solving skills with good judgment
• Ability to be impartial when managing through employment issues
• Ability to manage competing priorities while demonstrating exceptional organizational skills while driving results
• Possess exceptional interpersonal skills along with demonstrated written and oral communication skills to effectively influence across the organization
• Ability to collaborate within a matrix environment and with all levels of the organization.

Preferred Requirements:
• PHR or SPHR
• MBA or Master’s degree in a Human Resources related field
• R&D Industry experience.
